Thanks for helping me during this Lent season, and now during Holy Week. I am finding I need some boundaries (structure) to help me to focus on what is important now. I am getting into a rhythm of asking questions; however, I now realize reflection and listening are next on the priority list. As I am writing this there is a growing realization that the story is unfolding all around me, so observation is added to the list. Without writing and communicating to someone these thoughts would not even form. I am grateful to you for the platform and the effort on your part to facilitate - the passages and questions are a very helpful guide. The meaning can change drastically with very small changes in text... it's a very different thing (to me, at least) to say "by prayer" and "by prayer and fasting", as fasting is far more difficult for most people, and involves a much larger commitment. I've read an interpretation before that the reference to the kingdom of God coming in power is fulfilled a few days later when Jesus is transfigured, and meets with Moses and Elijah... that IS a pretty powerful manifestation of the kingdom of God.
